Setelah itu digunakan cassing dari pipa yang di cor sambil diangkat cassing-nya. Cassing digunakan pada tanah lembek dan berair. Jika tanah keras dan tidak berair,\u00a0pondasi\u00a0dapat langsung di cor tanpa cassing.<\/p>\n<p>Kedalaman\u00a0pondasi\u00a0ini dapat mencapai 20 meter dengan mengunakan besi tulangan sepanjang dalamnya\u00a0pondasi. Biasanya ukuran\u00a0pondasi\u00a0yang sering dipakai adalah diameter 20 cm, 30 cm, dan 40 cm, sesuai dengan hasil dari kontur tanahnya. Seperti layaknya\u00a0pondasi\u00a0tiang, maka\u00a0pondasi\u00a0strauss ini ditumpu pada dudukan beton (pile cap). Fungsi dudukan beton adalah mengikatkan tulangan\u00a0pondasi\u00a0pada kolom dan sloof. Selain itu fungsinya adalah untuk transfer tekanan beban di atasnya.<\/p>\n<p>Untuk\u00a0pondasi\u00a0bored pile, system kerjanya hampir sama dengan\u00a0pondasi\u00a0strauss pile.
