Kemudian retak akan memanjang hingga mencapai daerah tekan beton. Dengan demikian dapat berakibat berkurangnya penumpang beton dan akhirnya daerah tekan beton akan mengalami kegagalan akibat tegangan geser dan tegangan tekan.<\/li>\n<li>Keruntuhan lentur terjadi setelah retak dalam arah diagonal terbentuk. Retak dalam arah diagonal yang terbentuk sebelumnya tidak akan menyebabkan keruntuhan atau mencegah tercapainya kuat momen nominal penampang. Jika panjang penyaluran tulangan tarik mencukupi dan tidak terjadi keruntuhan pada daerah tekan beton, maka tulangan tarik akan mencapai kuat lelehnya.<\/li>\n<li>Keruntuhan tarik diagonal atau sering disebut geser pons (<em>punching shear<\/em>). Pelat pondasi mengalami keruntuhan akibat terjadinya retak dalam arah diagonal disekitar lokasi beban kolom.<\/li>\n<li>Keruntuhan lentur sebelum retak dalam arah diagonal terbentuk.Retak dalam arah diagonal terbentuk setelah kuat lentur penampang tercapai.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Dalam perencanaan pondasi telapak kita harus memperhatikan faktor keruntuhan geser agar tidak terjadi pergeseran sebelum kuat lentur penampang tercapai.
