Wash Boring adalah metode pengeboran tanah dengan bantuan air dalam proses pengeborannya sekaligus untuk mengangkat sampah tanah sisa pengeboran.<\/p>\n

Pengeboran Wash Boring<\/h3>\n

Dalam proses\u00a0pengeboran<\/a>\u00a0wash boring, sebatang pipa casing dengan diameter sekitar 50 cm hingga 100 cm dimasukan dipermukaan lubang pengeboran. Biasanya pipa casing yang dipakai dengan panjang 1,5 meter hingga 3,0 meter. Pipa casing dilengkapi dengan potongan yang diikat pada ujung bawah pipa stang bor yang dimasukkan ke dalam casing untuk membuang tanah di dalam casing. Pada awalnya air mengalir melalui pipa stang bor yang keluar sepanjang pipa melalui lubang kecil dengan kecepatan tinggi. Karena kecepatan tinggi air, tanah dipotong menjadi serpihan dan lumpur air tanah muncul melalui ruang melingkar antara pipa-pipa pengeboran dan casing. Selama lubang dalam proses pengeboran, air pengeboran yang terkumpul di bak sirkulasi kembali dipompa melalui selang ke dalam pipa stang bor.<\/span><\/p>\n

Saat proses berlanjut, lubang bor tambah dalam dan pipa casing tambahan dan batang bor ditambahkan.\u00a0Water swivel<\/em>\u00a0yang dipasang antara selang air dan pipa air. Sehingga pipa stang bor dan mata bor diputar dan ditekan di mana lubang bor dimasukkan lebih jauh ke dalam tanah.\u00a0<\/span>Setelah proses pengeboran yang sama berulang-ulang, sampai kedalaman lubang bor yang dibutuhkan sudah tercapai. Metode pengeboran wash boring ini cocok untuk semua jenis tanah kecuali kerikil dan batu-batu besar. Selain itu metode wash boring ini lebih cepat dibandingkan dengan metode dry boring. Untuk kondisi tanah lempung, casing tidak diperlukan.<\/p>\n

Pengamatan dan Supervisi<\/h3>\n

Selama proses pengeboran berlangsung kita dapat mengamati air lumpur yang mengalir keluar dari lubang. Hal ini bertujuan supaya kita dapat memprediksi jenis tanah. Demikian pula perubahan warna pada air pencuci menunjukkan perubahan pada lapisan tanah. Sampel diambil dari bahan yang diendapkan di bak sirkulasi. Namun sampel yang diambil akan kurang baik dan hanya memberikan prediksi kasar dari jenis tanah. Untuk akurasi yang memadai dari sampel yang diambil, kami mengikuti prosedur pengambilan sampel yang sesuai. Pada setiap kedalaman yang diinginkan dengan mengganti mata<\/span>\u00a0dengan tabung sampling. Umumnya metode ini digunakan untuk tahap penyelidikan awal\u00a0proyek<\/a>\u00a0pengeboran.<\/p>\n
