Struktur bangunan adalah bagian-bagian yang membentuk bangunan. Sebagai contoh antara lain seperti\u00a0pondasi<\/a>, sloof, dinding, kolom, ring, kuda-kuda, dan atap. Pada prinsipnya, elemen struktur berfungsi untuk mendukung keberadaan elemen nonstruktur. Elemen non-struktur yang dimaksud adalah meliputi elemen tampak, interior, dan detail arsitektur sehingga membentuk satu kesatuan.\u00a0 Setiap bagian struktur tersebut juga mempunyai fungsi dan peranannya masing-masing.<\/p>\n

Kegunaan lain yaitu meneruskan beban bangunan dari bagian bangunan atas menuju bagian bangunan bawah. Selanjutnya beban tersebut diteruskan dan disebarkan ke tanah. Perancangan struktur harus memastikan bahwa bagian-bagian sistem struktur ini sanggup menanggung gaya gravitasi dan beban bangunan. Sehingga kemudian dapat menyokong dan menyalurkannya ke tanah dengan aman.<\/p>\n

Terdapat tiga bagian yaitu antara lain :<\/p>\n

  1. Struktur\u00a0 bawah adalah bagian\u00a0 yang terletak di bawah permukaan tanah. Struktur bawah ini meliputi\u00a0pondasi<\/a>\u00a0dan sloof.<\/li>\n
  2. Bagian struktur tengah. Adalah merupakan bagian\u00a0 yang terletak di atas permukaan tanah dan di bawah atap. Bagian ini seharusnya layak ditinggali oleh manusia. Yang dimaksud struktur tengah di antaranya dinding, kolom, dan ring.<\/li>\n
  3. Struktur atas yaitu bagian yang terbentuk memanjang ke atas untuk menopang atap. Struktur atas bangunan antara lain rangka dan kuda-kuda.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
